Itabashi CampusGraduate School of Public Health held Teikyo International Summer School 2025

Graduate School of Public Health held the Teikyo International Summer School 2025 at Teikyo Graduate School Itabashi Campus from Saturday, July 5th to Saturday, July 12th, 2025.
Teikyo International Summer School is a program held every year that makes use of the educational methods that our graduate school has cultivated together with Harvard University, and is attended by many students from outside the university, including those from our overseas partner schools.

This year, six students and two faculty members from University of Southern California (USA), an academic partner school, and one student from Taipei Medical University (Taiwan) participated. In addition to doctoral students, many master's students from our graduate school participated as auditors and student supporters.
The program consisted of two themes. In the first half, the students learned about the basic principles of organizational behavior in the field of public health under the theme of "Healthcare Management." In the second half, the students deepened their understanding of global health policies against the backdrop of aging and epidemiological transition through Japanese examples under the theme of "Universal Health Coverage and Aging Society." In addition to the lectures, interactive group work and lively discussions were held. As part of the program, the students also visited and toured Teikyo University Hospital, Taito Ward Public Health Center, and the special nursing home "Kaga Sakura no Mori," providing a valuable opportunity for students to experience the medical, health, and welfare fields in Japan. In addition, on the first and last days of the school, exchange meetings were held between students and faculty, providing a forum for international academic and cultural exchange.

Teikyo University will continue to provide an international environment and practical learning opportunities to nurture global talent. We hope to expand the network of students studying at our university, both domestically and internationally.
